XT derailleur

I switched from an BOX 11 speed to the Shimano XT and it was a breeze to install and setup. Thanks to Jendon for suggesting. Everything went smoothly and arrived sooner than anticipated.

Modernized XT 11-speed

This allowed me to run a modern 1x setup with a Deore 11-51 cassette on my drop bar MTB. Definitely a stout rear derailleur and I was a little bummed by the steel pulley cage .... then I noticed XT 12-speed uses the same design. It weighed 17 grams more than the older M8000 derailleur. Nice to see the original Shimano derailleur design with the high and low limit screws in sensible places and the b-screw where it should be. Also works with 11-42 cassettes although the b-screw is backed all the way out. Definitely surprised this even exists. Thank you Shimano

XT Derailleur for the win

Solid rear derailleur that shifts well and lasts. The low profile keeps it from bashing into trail obstacles. The clutch works well when paired with narrow wide chain rings.

My bike frame is has a derailleur hanger will this mount to my hangar or I have to buy separate B Knuckle to mount this derailleur?

I was able to mount the derailleur directly to the derailleur hanger. I did not use a B Knuckle. This could depend on your hanger.
